Controls and behaviour

The key record shows its current identifier and public verification information. Rotate key creates a new signing key after confirmation. Consumers use the published verification endpoints to validate issued authority.

Access and limits

Townsify issues authority, while an external directory can supply identity. Rotation affects future signing and verification policy; it is not a command to replace every provider credential. Keep public keys separate from private signing material.
