Directory sync
Directory sync manages mirrors of the organisation's agents in configured identity providers. A mirror makes agents recognisable to a provider without making that directory the source of the hierarchy.

Controls and behaviour
Connection controls configure or test a provider. Sync agents reconciles the mirror. Registration and drift records describe what the provider knows about each agent. Defaults control placement and naming.
Access and limits
Directory sync is optional and provider-specific. It does not move the embedded runtime into the provider. A directory outage does not become a requirement to recreate a township. Agent definitions remain the local source of truth.
